Shannon Jurecka

As Managing Director, Head of Human Resources for Charles Schwab, Shannon Jurecka is responsible for building a highly-capable, engaged, and high-performing workforce that is focused on helping Schwab clients attain their financial goals. She was appointed to her role in January 2025. 

Prior to joining Schwab, Jurecka served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Texas Capital Bank in Dallas and at Celanese Corporation in Irving, TX, and previously held senior HR leadership roles at Bank of America and Dell. She has deep experience managing all aspects of HR for publicly-traded companies—strategically organizing around firm priorities, developing and rewarding employees, and building and sustaining strong, vibrant cultures. 

Jurecka was named to the list of Top 15 Business Women in Dallas by the National Women’s Council in 2018 and to the Power 50 by the Texas Diversity Council. She earned a Master’s degree from St. Edwards University in Austin, TX, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX.
