Sam Kang is Head of Family Office and Premier Wealth Group for Schwab Advisor Services™. Kang’s team is dedicated to providing comprehensive wealth management solutions for more than 100 clients, managing over $200 billion in assets. With more than 25 years in financial services, he has held leadership roles in strategy, technology, operations and marketing. Most recently, he served as President of DAFgiving360™, providing charitable planning services to Schwab’s clients and ultra-high net worth donors, while advancing the organization’s mission to increase charitable giving in the United States. 

Kang earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California, San Diego. He holds Series 7, 63, 9, and 10 registrations, along with a LEAN Six Sigma Black belt and the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP) designation. Kang is also an Executive Sponsor for the Charles Schwab Community Ambassadors Team in Westlake, Texas, and is part of the Executive Leadership Team for the American Heart Association in Tarrant County, Texas.
