During the unprecedented uncertainty of 2020—as people everywhere grappled with the devastating impact of the pandemic—Charles Schwab Foundation and Schwab and TD Ameritrade employees stepped up more than ever to lift those in need while maintaining our focus on financial literacy. Some highlights:
- More than 6,300 employees volunteered virtually and participated in numerous acts of service.
- We delivered more than $12 million to nonprofit organizations nationwide, providing frontline workers with medical supplies, support for local foodbanks and community organizations, scholarships for underrepresented students, matching funds for the charities you personally support, and so much more.
- We continued our focus on financial literacy and deepened our investment in financial education programs to help empower students, teachers and individuals with trusted and straightforward guidance.
