Joe Mazzola is Director of Trading Services at Charles Schwab. In this role, he is tasked with creating and presenting a compelling content offering that encourages engagement and learning among all kinds of traders, from novice to sophisticated and everything in-between. He appears regularly on Bloomberg Radio, CNBC, the Schwab Network, and weekly on Schwab Coaching™ webcasts, where he hosts “Liz Ann Live” alongside Schwab's Chief Investment Strategist, Liz Ann Sonders. 

Previously, Mazzola ran Schwab’s Trader Education offering as well as Schwab Live Daily (now Schwab Coaching). He helped build the Schwab Learning Center, hosted the firm’s large-format Schwab Live virtual and in-person education events, and has participated as an options specialist and panelist at multiple partner events.

Mazzola has 25 years of investment management experience assisting institutional and retail clients, including time as a portfolio manager, Cboe and International Stock Exchange options market maker, and risk manager.

Mazzola has a master’s degree in business administration with a focus on finance and financial management services from DePaul University’s Charles H. Kellstadt Graduate School of Business. He holds Series 4, 7, 24 and 65 licenses.
