Retail Strategy
Andrew D’Anna is the Chief Operating Officer of Schwab’s Retail business. He is responsible for the firm’s overall Retail strategy, as well as client experience and relationship management for Schwab’s diverse range of clients, including the Schwab Private Wealth Services, Schwab Private Client Services, mass affluent, and emerging affluent client segments. In his role, D’Anna oversees Schwab Independent Branch Services, the firm’s franchise branch program with nearly 100 locations across the United States. He is also accountable for the firm’s centralized Retail sales functions, in addition to rep experience and enablement of the Retail branch and service teams.
D’Anna previously played leadership roles in Schwab’s acquisition and integration of the USAA Investment Management Company and the integration of Schwab and Ameritrade’s Retail businesses.
Prior to joining Schwab, D’Anna was a management consultant at the Boston Consulting Group where he served financial service and public sector organizations on strategic growth, operations, and organizational topics. Andrew holds an MBA from INSEAD, a master’s in international economics and foreign affairs from the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins, and a bachelor’s in economics from Vanderbilt. D'Anna holds FINRA series 7 and 24 registrations.
