Michael Iachini oversees quantitative research into mutual funds, managed accounts and exchange-traded funds for Charles Schwab Investment Advisory. In addition, he is responsible for risk management and trade oversight for Schwab Managed PortfoliosTM. Iachini also contributes exchange-traded fund articles for Schwab's newsletters and web sites.

Prior to joining Schwab in 2004, Iachini was a domestic equities analyst for the State Board of Administration of Florida.

He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in international affairs and Master of Science degree in economics from Florida State University. He holds both the Chartered Financial Analyst and Certified Financial Planner designations.
