Brett Wander joined Schwab in June 2011 as senior vice president and chief investment officer, fixed income. He has more than 17 years of investment management experience in the fixed income markets, including the management, development, and oversight of a variety of fixed income strategies.
Wander was recently senior managing director at State Street Global Advisors, where he successfully rebuilt the firm’s active fixed-income business and was responsible for $30 billion in fixed income strategies.
Wander received a master's degree from the University of Chicago and a bachelor's degree in system science engineering from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
