National Financial Literacy Challenge Awards

Schwab honored the 10 regional winners of this national test for teens with a trip to Washington D.C. and a college scholarship. Those attending the awards ceremony, as pictured above, included: (front row, from left) Dennis Saneski, Alex Oswalt, Charles R. Our Involvement

We give back to the community in many ways.

  • Financial Literacy: Through websites, workshops, articles and books, we help consumers with the money issues  that matter to them most.
  • Volunteerism: Employees bring Schwab values to life by donating their time, money and talents to support community causes.
  • Corporate Giving: We encourage employee philanthropy, provide financial support and sponsor charitable events through the independent, nonprofit Charles Schwab Foundation and The Charles Schwab Corporation.
  • The Environment: We want our impact to be large but our environmental footprint to be small – so we strive to use environmentally friendly practices in our workplace.
