Schwab Volunteer Week Makes History
Schwab Volunteer Week: 2011 Edition is in the history books. Literally. Because, just by the numbers, last week made history at Schwab.
More people participated than ever before – an estimated 2,200-plus employees who donated more than 8,800 hours of community service work on 140 projects in cities across the United States.
As a volunteer photographer, I dropped in on three projects in San Francisco. But I also “visited” projects in Austin, Denver, Phoenix and other key cities, thanks to some terrific work from other employee photographers. We’ve put together a slideshow on the Community Services home page. Take a look, and leave a comment or email us to talk about your favorite image.
By the way, we love our new slideshow and video player on the Community Services and Careers pages. We hope you do, too!
